WWE Superstars LIVE Coverage – Part 1/2: Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

For the first match, former tag-team and dance partners Kelly Kelly and Layla faced off tonight on WWE Superstars. Amazing match! Definetly worth watching! Both of these ladies have extreme talent.. And I’m glad to see Layla in a singles instead of a tag-team.

Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

“Holla! Holla!” Kelly Kelly comes out with Natalya to her theme, Layla comes out with Michelle McCool to her theme as well. “Flawless!”

Quick Note: All of the Diva’s look gorgeous tonight! Kelly Kelly and Michelle especially.

Shortish match up.. the two square off, Kelly coming off the top rope, but a release from Layla. Looks like that broke some ribs. Layla with a pin-up and a kick out by Kelly. Layla with a neckbreaker and a kick to the back. Layla grabs Kelly by the hair and puts her in a leglock. Kelly’s fighting to stay in, Layla pinches Kelly’s nose and Kelly attacks her. She’s still locked in though. Kelly with a release and… never mind. A kick down by Layla.

Quick Note: Is anyone else loving this singles action? They should do this more often!

Come on Kelly! Her “tribal” scream as she repeatedly slams Lay into the mat. Shit! A pin by Layla.. and a count-out. Kelly goes for the pin after a slam and.. very close count. Kick-out by Lay. Layla is imitating Natalya and her “beard”. Layla locks in the sharpshooter and is too distracted with taunting Natalya, that Kelly gets out. Natalya chokes Layla on the rope and Kelly rolls up Lay for the three count.

Oct. 11, 2010 – RAW Revelations: A Brutal Beatdown

I think tonight, all of the Divas on the roster are actually used. Although, there wasn’t actually a real match. Figures. Here are your Raw Revelations.

Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse vs. R-Truth w/ Eve

Maryse and Ted Dibiase are already in the ring, Eve comes out and dance down to the ring.

Quick Note: Is anyone else sick of Eve dancing? I mean.. I love her, but I find it extremely annoying.

The match starts and R-Truth blows by Ted, Truth fights back, avoids a couple of attacks and hits a leg lariat for 2. DiBiase fights out of a headlock and hits a clothesline before going on the attack with rights for a 1 count. Stiff kick to the ribs. DiBiase doesn’t have his Million Dollar Championship tonight. A back breaker gets 2 for DiBiase, but he runs into a boot by Truth in the corner. Couple of clotheslines by Truth, followed up by a snap powerslam for 2. Sitout suplex gets 2 for Truth. Truth comes off the ropes into a spinebuster from DiBiase for 2. Ted sets for Dream Street but here’s Golddust and Aksana. Truth gets a roll up for 2! The Lie Detector connects and it’s over!

Preview: Unified Divas Championship Match

Following weeks of verbal and physical jabs courtesy of self-professed “co-Unified Divas Champions” Lay-Cool, Natalya will no doubt seek retribution against the taunting tandem – and capture their butterfly-emblazoned title – at WWE Bragging Rights.

Natalya last collided with WWE’s Mean Girls at Hell in a Cell, where Layla threw a shoe at the third-generation competitor to intentionally disqualify defending Unified Divas Champion Michelle McCool. Although Layla technically cost her “BFF” the match, she also rescued Michelle from submitting to Natalya’s excruciating Sharpshooter – a maneuver she added to her repertoire as a tribute to her uncle, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart.

As the first female graduate of the Hart Dungeon, Natalya has never backed down from a fight, and while one might think Lay-Cool’s constant bullying would be discouraging, Michelle & Layla’s torment has only bolstered Natalya’s desire to win her first championship in WWE.

As stipulated by SmackDown Special Consultant Vickie Guerrero, either Michelle or Layla can defend the title. But regardless of who is actually competing in the match, the WWE Universe – and more importantly, the challenger herself – can expect both members of Lay-Cool to play a role.

Will the first-ever Unified Divas Champions rack up another “flawless” victory? Or will a Sharpshooter earn Natalya her first championship win this time around? To find out, tune in to WWE Bragging Rights, Oct. 24, only on pay-per-view

Oct. 8, 2010 – Smackdown Snippets: A LoveSick Affair

Last night on Smack!Down, was a singles match (You heard right! No tag-team!) between Layla and Kelly Kelly. Let’s just say… this match proved why Layla is at the top of the roster, and Kelly Kelly isn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great fight between both of them.

Also, Vickie Guerrero got escorted ringside for Dolph Zigglers match with MVP. It’s hard to tell who he really “loves”. He’s got such a pokerface, it’s impossible!

Oct. 4th, 2010 – Raw Revelations: The Short Change Edition of Monday Night Raw

After coming out of a good Match at Night of Champions between Michelle McCool and Natalya we were expecting a rather good night on Monday Night but yet again it fell way-way short of our expectations. – No Surprise there then. Right

Coming straight out of a break Natalya and Alicia Fox are already in the ring without introduction, to start this bout Alicia mocks Natalya of which she takes great offence to which starts the match with Natalya automatically homing in on Alicia, but before we know it Alicia delivers a devastating forearm chop/block to Natalya sending her in to the corner only for Natalya to reverse this flurry of action and sending Alicia in to the corner. Natalya is back on the attack soon after charging into the corner to attack Alicia further but is met by a boot to the face by the vicious vixen that is Alicia after that Natalya stunned staggers back into the centre of the ring, the former WWE Divas Champion Alicia quickly ascends to the top rope for an attempted Cross-Body on The Queen of the Dynasty Natalya, of which she quickly reverses and catches the Bootylicious Diva. Hell in a Cell PPV in Review (3rd October 2010) : Michelle McCool vs. Natalya

On Sunday Night one half of the Self Professed Unified Divas Champion Michelle McCool took on the Number One Contender Natalya at Hell in a Cell Pay-per-View Event. It’s common knowledge that Natalya is a favourite of ours here at Diva-Adikt. But we find ourselves asking can Natalya end the tyranny of the ‘Flawless’ Duo Michelle McCool & Layla. To see the Queen of the ‘Hart Dynasty’ take on Michelle McCool watch below.

Michelle McCool is out to the ring first with Layla in tow, and she gets almost no reaction from the crowd. Natalya is out next, and her reaction is a bit better, but still pretty apathetic.

Natalya takes McCool down at the bell with a headlock and she locks her up in a waistlock, but McCool rolls to the outside, trying to call for a timeout. Layla distracts Natalya, and she runs into a big clothesline from McCool. McCool launches Natalya into the barricade, before taking her back into the ring and burying knees in her back. McCool locks Natalya in a body scissors and tries to wear her down.

Natalya picks McCool up and slams her back first into the turnbuckle, scoring a near fall, but McCool is quick to lock the body scissors right back in. Natalya gets the crowd behind her, and the ref catches McCool using the ropes for leverage to force a break. Both women get back to their feet and McCool gets a back body drop and a couple of back elbows from Natalya. Natalya catches McCool with a clothesline, but Layla distracts the ref. McCool tries to use that to her advantage, but she ends up kicking Layla. Natalya goes for a roll up, but only gets a two count.

Natalya takes McCool off her feet and is able to lock in the sharpshooter, but McCool counters out of it into a heel hook. Natalya is able to roll over and right back into a sharpshooter. McCool almost taps, but Layla throws her shoe at Natalya, and that scores a DQ for McCool. Natalya tries to lock in the sharpshooter on Layla, but both co-Champs bail, Layla throwing another shoe.

Winner by DQ: Natalya, but unfortunately STILL WWE Unified Diva’s Champion: Michelle McCool

Michelle McCool (/w Layla) vs. Natalya

As Natalya came out, Cole saluted the troops watching all over the globe. This match gets second-from-top billing not because it’s considered a co-main event, but rather it’s the match that could be cut down or expanded depending on how the show is running time-wise. That said, a good side-effect is making the title seem a little more prestigious based on the positioning on the show. The match began at 10:03 p.m. McCool and Layla double-teamed Natalya at ringside at 1:00. Back in the ring McCool applied a body scissors.

Oct. 1, 2010 – Smackdown Snippets: ‘Hart’y Submission

Lay-Cool, Maryse & Alicia Fox vs. Natalya, The Bella Twins & Kelly Kelly

Alicia Fox starts out against Kelly Kelly. They soon double clothesline one another. Natalya is tagged in against Maryse. She hits a double arm suplex and a snap suplex. Natalya then hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Natalya takes Maryse down with a spinning clothesline and locks the Sharpshooter on. McCool quickly runs in and kicks Natalya. The Bella Twins run in and break it up. The girls clear the ring of one another and Layla celebrates next to McCool. Layla is then pulled half-way under the ring. Hornswoggle then comes out and chases Layla around the ring. McCool then lays him out with a big boot!

Natalya takes them out with a baseball slide. Maryse comes from behind and kicks Natalya. Natalya reverses a suplex into the Sharpshooter for the submission win!

The Prediction Chamber: Hell in a Cell – Natalya vs. Michelle McCool

For the first time ever, it will be Natalya vs. Michelle McCool.

At Hell in a Cell, the “Flawless History-Maker” clashes with legendary lineage as Unified Divas ChampionMichelle McCool puts the butterfly on the line against the pink and black attack of Natalya.

Michelle McCool has made making history look easy. Just two weeks ago, the multiple-time champion unified both the Divas and Women’s Championships, retiring one of WWE’s longest-running and prestigious titles. As BFFs, Team Lay-Cool has been simply “flawless” in the Divas division – using questionable tactics to secure their stronghold.

But their luck may change at Hell in a Cell.

On Raw, Natalya won a Diva Battle Royal to cement her place as No. 1 contender to Lay-Cool’s Unified Divas Championship. WWE’s first third-generation Diva struck fear in the faces of Michelle McCool and Layla as they sat in on commentary. Next, on SmackDown live from Oklahoma, Natalya continued her positive momentum heading into Hell in a Cell with a win in Diva tag action.

What will happen when Michelle McCool faces a determined Hart Dynasty Diva? Will the “Flawless History-Maker’s” gold-bearing continue, or will Lay-Cool’s reign be usurped by the legendary lineage of Natalya?
